Fellowship Programs
AHIRF offers two fellowship programs designed to support the development of future medical doctors in orthopedics. These programs provide hands-on experience, academic enrichment, and clinical exposure in a high-volume, research-driven environment.
Internship Program
Designed for highly motivated pre-medical students and recent graduates, this full-time internship offers hands-on experience in clinical research, surgery observation, and patient care. Interns work alongside physicians, fellows, and research staff, gaining exposure to real-world orthopedic practice while building a strong foundation for future medical training.
Surgery Observation
Healthcare professionals interested in hip preservation and reconstruction can request to observe live surgeries performed by Dr. Benjamin Domb, Dr. Mark Schinsky, Dr. Etan Sugarman, Dr. Benjamin Kuhns, and Dr. Megan Flynn. This is a unique opportunity to gain insight into advanced surgical techniques and high-volume orthopedic care in a leading clinical setting.
AHIRF Events
Throughout the year, AHIRF hosts a variety of educational events, including surgical skills labs, symposiums, webinars, and networking sessions for medical students, residents, fellows, and practicing clinicians. These events provide hands-on learning, expert-led discussions, and opportunities to engage with leaders in orthopedic surgery.
